What's New in November 2018?

M.I.A.? No. Kinda...I mean...
I know, I know...

I skipped September and October. Truth is...I took a job in the really, real world to offset expenses. I still have my original job with the digital marketing company out of New Orleans. I just needed a little something extra!

I had to face it - SL does bring me cash anymore and that's why I wiped my store on the marketplace. I had accidentally moved a folder and PSD links for over 500 sets had been misplaced and changed. Doom? Maybe, but it gave me perspective. I knew it was time to move on from trying to make it a second income. I hadn't made more than $50 USD in all of 2017. It was over. I had a good run!

I took a second job with the local newspaper in my town as the Advertising Coordinator. I like it! It puts my graphic design skills to use and everyone in town, some out of county (even out of state) see my talent in print every week! I've been getting use to the new schedule at work and trying to balance it with my REAL job I do remotely here at home with Digital Media Ghost. The last two months have been exhausting, but my bills are all caught up!

A photo (taken badly) of what I do for the local newspaper every week!

Now that you know what I've been up to...I still can't let SL go completely. I cannot promise a set every week or even every month. I've taken my time on the weekends and sometimes late at night after the kids are in bed to work on a few things. Yes, the process is slow, but maybe worth it. I'm able to enjoy it rather than rushing something out hoping to make cash because there's a kid with a birthday coming up or my husbands meds cost a little more this month.

Okay! On to what's new...

Dalia is new!
When I sat down to create this template set, I had something specific in mind that I wanted for myself. Of course, I'd be damned if I could find it in RL. So...Second Life it is! My man likes lace. He also likes when he can see ample cleavage above the material. It's a feast plateau for those who like boobage and the nipple sneak through the lace is a real fire starter! Not to mention, a hint of awaits below. Come on, you know you're smiling right now! Lace is the shit. Amiright?

The design
The bra & panties
I created the lace first (pain in the ass - but got it done) and then started on the bra and panty design. I wanted strapless and skimpy. Not skimpy as in, whore-slut-cunt-wear type of stuff. I wanted it to show off some goods, but remain kinda modest at the same time. More like tease-wear. I cut the cup of the bra right along the nipple plain and trimmed it up with some more lace! After I got the wire detail and band in, it looked odd. I ran a seam from top to bottom, down the center of each cup. tada! That little extra something I was looking for. The panties were easy enough - material and some straps with lace trim. I'm more than certain I accomplished what I set out to design. I'm happy with it!

The tunic
I didn't want to cover the all the lace with a traditional-typed tunic. I envisioned a tunic with thick straps criss-crossing front and back leading down to long flowing sides that land about mid-thigh. Starting with the fabric (of course, always) I wanted a flashy, shiny look. Something with a sheen. Glitter! Why not? I'm good at making it in Photoshop and it would look amazing. I got my textures made and the colors for the tunic chosen - black, gold and silver.

I didn't see it working with the illusion of some sort of stretchy material though. To fix that issue, I placed some cute heart shaped buckles in the front.

The finished product
I'd wear it! I can only hope that others would or at least sell it!

The tunic does cover the nipples that can be seen through the lace cups. The hoo-ha? Not so much.

There IS still some lascivious views there. It might not be the best choice for those naughty-nighty club contests if they still require some modesty, huh?

I'll be listing this for sale tomorrow in the Second Life Marketplace. Look for it!
